It seems that facebook is being used by more spouses to connect with old flames. A recent news report form Philadelphia notes that lawyers are seeing facebook as an item being used in divorces with greater frequency.
In this modern digital age, it seems that all its takes is few clicks of the mouse for the old flame to be rekindled and renewed. Old flames have always presented such risks, the problem is that today’s social media tools make it exceptionally easy to reconnect. With all the old friends, there are also the old girlfriends/boyfriends as well.
It seems as if the old idea of ‘free love’ as popularized in the sixties is back with a vengeance by means of facebook, myspace and other social network sites.
Since it is so easy for old flames to revive, it is important that after an affair, the social connects need to be SEVERED.
